The backbone of our business revolves around the basic management of homeowners associations. We are currently managing over 70 associations in northern California and have been in business for well over 25 years. Association Management Concepts, Inc. is in the business of managing your association.
At AMC, we feel our attention to the client and our eye on your bottom line are two of the qualities that make us stand out in this business. What this means to us is we listen to you attentively in order to gauge your needs accurately and provide the appropriate level of service. Instead of a generic approach that fits you to the template we have already established, we fit our services into the template of your needs. It’s what we do.
Expansive or condensed common areas with connected residential units and the maintenance issues that can come from them require high levels of management services. We are up to the task.
These condominium associations require even more specialized experience than other types of associations. The close proximity of residents to one another and to common areas requires knowledgeable guidance.
These condominium associations , covered by the Commercial & Industrial Common Interest Development Act, are particularly specialized due to the fact they are individually owned professional offices and are usually only occupied during business hours. AMC can meet these challenges.

These associations can be so large and complex that normal management techniques will not suffice. We know how to meet the needs of projects that are larger in scope.
Our Management Services
AMC offers comprehensive guidance for board meetings. This service can include leading board members through the meeting process, recording minutes and directives, and training for board members who are new to the process. AMC will also prepare and distribute board resolutions in accordance with civil code requirements.
These inspections are performed by your association’s community manager in order to ensure the proper maintenance of the community. Vendors can be met with during these inspections and architectural compliance can be inspected as well.
Your association CC&Rs, rules and regulations have been around since your community was formed. However, it is important to audit your rules regularly to ensure they still meet the association’s needs and fit within the current legal guidelines.
We coordinate and monitor any vendor service that is needed by your association. AMC has an efficient and timely system for processing work orders and payment to vendors working for the benefit of your community.
Your community manager will prepare and distribute annual election packages, and will help you schedule and conduct these important association meetings.
It can be difficult for Board Members to enforce penalties against their neighbors. AMC is very experienced in effectively enforcing rule violations. Hand the ball to us when it comes to notifications and hearing requirements. We can also give you recommendations for qualified services when it comes to collection measures, filing liens, or the extreme case of foreclosure filing. Let us take the anxiety out of enforcement proceedings. We know what to do.
Our management team is available to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and on all holidays.
New Owner Outreach
Our team contacts all new owners and offers the opportunity to discuss the association with them and ensure the owner has what they need to get off to a good start in the community. This can be especially helpful for owners that will be renting their property.
